On June 20, 2024 from 11:30AM – 8:OOPM, IES San Francisco Section’s Light! Design Expo returns to Pier 27 on San Francisco’s Embarcadero, with its beautiful panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay and waterfront. This exciting annual expo showcases the latest in architectural lighting products, attracts a wide range of design professionals, and is the only architectural lighting products show in Northern California. This exciting event for the design community is becoming known as one of the best lighting shows in the US.

The IES Illumination Awards (IA) is world renown across the lighting industry and beyond, and is the culmination of the leading lighting projects.

The Illumination Awards recognizes individuals for professionalism, ingenuity and originality in lighting design based on the individual merit of each entry. Judges are selected from a broad professional spectrum representing knowledge of lighting and design excellence. The judging system is entirely based on how well the lighting design meets the program criteria. 2024 marks the Illumination Awards 51st year and will be held during IES24, The Lighting Conference, Friday August 16, at the Marriott Marquis Times Square, New York.
